Rock Your Food and Fun

This library based program is a hands-on, interactive, healthy eating and physical activity program for children and families.  The goal is to provide evidence based nutrition education which reinforces the importance of 5210 principles-balanced diet and an increase in fruit and vegetable consumption, increased physical activity, reduction of screen time and sweetened beverage consumption to promote healthy growth and development.  The program provides fun, hands-on learning activities, a family cooking class and opportunity to taste foods prepared during the program.
